TotalBoat 5:1 Epoxy Resin Kits are designed for a variety of boat building, composite construction, and epoxy repair projects. These premium kits contain the traditional 5:1 marine-grade epoxy resin and hardener, renowned for their high strength and waterproof cure.

The 5:1 epoxy resin and hardener components can be mixed by weight or volume, providing flexibility for different applications. The kits include TotalBoat Traditional 5:1 Epoxy Resin and your choice of TotalBoat 5:1 Fast or 5:1 Slow Hardener, along with calibrated 5:1 resin and hardener pumps. These pumps are designed to dispense the exact mix ratio by volume, ensuring a perfect cure every time.

The TotalBoat 5:1 Fast Hardener is recommended for working in cooler temperatures (50-85°F), with a pot life of 12 minutes at 75°F. The Slow Hardener, on the other hand, is best suited for warmer conditions (70-95°F) or when you need to extend working and cure times, with a pot life of 20 minutes at 75°F. For optimal dispensing, the recommended temperature range is 60-70°F.

This versatile epoxy resin system can be applied to a wide range of substrates, including fiberglass, reinforcement fabrics, wood, etched aluminum, and bare steel. It can also be combined with TotalBoat fillers to create strong adhesives, filleting materials, or fairing compounds.

The TotalBoat 5:1 Epoxy Resin Kits are available in three convenient sizes: quart, gallon, and 4.5-gallon. The quart kit includes 30 fl. oz. of epoxy and 6 fl. oz. of hardener, while the gallon kit contains 127 fl. oz. of resin and 25 fl. oz. of hardener. The 4.5-gallon kit offers 4.5 gallons of epoxy and 1 gallon of hardener.

TotalBoat 5:1 Epoxy Resin Kits can save time and money on a wide range of projects, from wet layups and laminating to installing bulkheads. These kits are designed to be user-friendly, with the option to apply the epoxy by brush, roller, or syringe, or to pour and spread it with a plastic resin spreader.

When compared to other 5:1 epoxy resin systems, such as West System epoxy 105 with 205 or 206 hardener, MAS epoxy resin, System Three, FGCI, and West Marine epoxy resin, TotalBoat 5:1 marine-grade epoxy resin stands out for its great value and exceptional results. All TotalBoat products are 100% made in the USA.
